The head of the NOSMA student sports club, Atsamaz Burdukhi

The head of the NOSMA student sports club, Atsamaz Burdukhi, organized a weekend hike for NOSMA students of 1-3 courses, including Indian citizens, a trip to places of military glory in order to introduce young people to the sights of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania associated with heroic military events, the history of Ossetia, and its beautiful mountain landscape. During the excursion, the students visited the Barbashovo Field memorial, learned about the feat of Pyotr Barbashov and honored his memory by laying flowers at the foot of the monument. The children also saw the Zhuravli memorial complex, erected in honor of the seven Gazdanov brothers who died on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War. The idea of ​​the memorial is associated with the poem by Rasul Gamzatov, Zhuravli. The history of the Gazdanov family is striking in its tragedy and courage. The students also laid flowers at the monument to the brothers – the cranes flying into the sky – and stood in silence, impressed by what they had heard. The participants of the hike also got acquainted with the natural beauty of the Karmadon Gorge. Undoubtedly, the trip will be remembered by the children for a long time.

📚Preventive landing of NOSMA (NORTH OSSETIAN STATE MEDICAL ACADEMY)

Teachers, curators, the department of educational work, the international department together with the student activists conducted a preventive visit in student dormitory No. 1. The purpose of the event was to monitor compliance with the rules of residence, ensure safety and create comfortable conditions for students. During the visit, the participants of which walked through the residential blocks, drew attention to the condition of common areas, fire safety, as well as compliance with sanitary and household standards. Students were given booklets with rules of conduct in the student dormitory. Such events contribute to the formation of a responsible attitude to the rules of residence and the creation of a comfortable and safe environment for students. The participants of the raid believe that such joint work helps to increase the effectiveness of preventive measures among young people.

Topic: “India–Russia Relations: Then & Now” 🇮🇳🤝🇷🇺 Students of North Ossetian State Medical Academy (NOSMA) engaged in an interactive introductory session on the historic and strategic relationship between India and Russia. From cultural diplomacy to energy cooperation and educational exchange, the class offered rich insights and enthusiastic student presentations. This marks the beginning of their global academic journey with deep-rooted understanding and respect for both nations. 🌍✍️

SPORTS MARATHON NORTH OSSETIAN STATE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY

A sports and mass event dedicated to World Health Day was held at NOSMA, organized by the Department of General Hygiene and Physical Education. Health Day in the context of modern reality is an important event that is designed to help the younger generation understand that health is a guarantee of a happy and successful life. Students of 1-4 courses of all faculties, including foreign students, took part in the marathon. An extensive program included master classes, team games and other types of active leisure. The start of the sports marathon was given by the masters of sports of Russia in rhythmic gymnastics and football Tedeeva I.V. and Gorokhov S.V., who conducted a health warm-up, demonstrating to the participants original methods of mastering technical techniques for the formation of physical skills. The main part of the event included master classes on coordination, agility, strength - in table tennis and darts, and for girls - in fitness. All of them were organized by professionals in their field: senior teachers Kozaev R.Kh., Rostiashvili E.Yu., Andiev O.Kh., Asitashvili S.G. And, undoubtedly, the highlight of the marathon was a friendly volleyball match among foreign students. The participants showed excellent play, bright emotions and real teamwork. Health Day became a real holiday of health and sports, confirming the importance of regular physical activity as a significant component of a healthy lifestyle.
